I've enjoyed listening to podcast since 2018. The first podcast I had listened to purely by choice and for personal entertainment was Pretty Basic. I got hooked and now have a lot that I listen to mainly in the mornings. There are also video b=versions of a lot of the podcasts I began listening to a while aago, so it is nice to be able to choose how I want to listen/ watch them.
This past semester I started my own podcast with Ashley called Life Like. We only have five episodes out right now, but between friends and family they seem to really enjoy it so far. We just uploaded our first video version as well. I like that I'm learning how to edit both audio and video clips, but also just having fun talking between friends.
I gre up dancing for 15 years. I had been at the same studio for most of them too. It was a family to me outside of my friends at school and being home to the point where I was eventually managing it in my last years at the studio. Those were also the studio's final years as my teachers were waiting for my high school graduation to retire.
I haven't taken a dance class since last june, but I do miss it. I'm definitely considering researching what's available on campus and around LA to see if I might find a class to take. I've heard of a few clubs and have friends in the dance major so I am sure if I choose to I'll find the opportunity to bring back this hobby on campus.
One of my new years resolution was to start journaling. I have been starting light, but have enjoyed getting into the habit. I find it to be relaxing and a good way to get myself away from screens.
